Do I Need an agent to start auditions for Disney shows ?

A year ago me and my family were at Disney Land where a worker gave my sister a ticket to go to a casting of hannah montana wizards of waverly place.
The problem was that we forgot to go on the day. Now we read on the internet that if we want to go again we will need to hire an agent so that we stand a better chance of getting into a show or audition for disney.
What i want to know is, do i really have to have an agent or can i just turn up ?

First of all the whole lady with the paper thing sounds like a big scam. she obviously gave everyone who passed by that paper.
But yes you will need an agent to know where and when the auditions are unless they are open call auditions in which they will probably be posted on the internet somewhere. Just google it mate.
It really sounds like a joke to me why would you turn up for auditions then forget to go ??
An agent would be able to find auditions in places where they wouldnt have open calls such as movies. If youre serious about getting into show business then you need to get an agent its the only way to go.
I got the same thing turned out they dont auditon you for one of the shows. You actually go there to audition for a training school where you might have a chance to audition for the shows. So its not what you think and lets face it your chances are extremely limited of getting in that way.
Youre the millionth person to ask that. Ill give you the same answer. Being on the Disney channel is every kids dream. Not gonna happen for literally 99.99 of those who want it. Fun thing to dream about but you it will never be your reality so quit whilst youre ahead and become a doctor or lawyer instead.
